The contrast is amazing. The exposure length perfectly captures the energy of the waves. My only critique point is the overall lighting; I feel like it's a tad bit dark overall for my tastes.

Wow... what a powerful image. Wonderful flowing water and a big powerful wave splash. The addition of the little boat is a nice peaceful juxtaposition against the power of the water.

The processing works very nicely for this image and I love the way you've done your sig. Very imaginative.

Looks like a hurricane or something is about to emerge from the waves in the background lol. Love the black and white used here to really accentuate the shadows.

He probably used a slow shutter speed to capture the motion of water. Then he either made it black and whit ina photo editing program or just took the picture in black and white, which any decent dslr camera can do.
